Mexican Sugar Skull Workshop
(LARGE Sized Skulls!)
Sugar Skull Making and Decorating class. Learn how to apply the
"Principles of Design" to embellish your own Sugar Skull in the
tradition of Mexico's "Dia de los Muertos." You will learn to use
Royal Icing in baker's bags and a variety of candy to make a
unique and original work of art.
Work while you view a wonderful Art DVD about Day of the
Dead in Oaxaca, Mexico. Participants will take home their own
Large Sugar Skull and a recipe with instructions. Great for all
ages. Young children should be accompanied by an adult.
(These "art forms" are not intended as food since they are not
produced in a commercial kitchen. They can last many years
stored in the bag provided.)

Create filigree paper banners
Learn various folds and cuts to produce the handmade paper
banners popular at Mexican Fiestas, Holidays, and Birthdays.
This art form is used at "Dia de los Muertos" to decorate
